A quote from Topic: SF4

You might be interested to know that Udon has been commissioned to create certain character select pics earlier this year for some (what was at that time) future Street Fighter project. They've already created this one for Zangief:

(2 Zangief Icons here...)

Well bout that.. Since Zangief hasn't appeared in latest SF games, i doubt that he is going to be in SF4. I actually think those Icons for Zangief are made for my previously mentioned "Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix" for PS3. It's 2D, but with improved HD graphics with 1080p resolution.
Release date is yet to be announced, however here are some screens, that are available at gamespot:

And here are some drawings of characters for the game Smiley:

Ahh, that does make sense since Capcom had made a conscious decision years ago to eliminate Zangief from the Street Fighter universe by using the fall of the Soviet Union as the reason why nothing was known of his fate thereafter (prior to SF:TLY, that is).

Great pics, by the way, Sak!

I'm excited for this one.  I've been following a Capcom blog that's pretty detailed in the development of this game.

http://blog.capcom.com/

I believe the latest news is that they are balancing the fighting so that the visuals appear more seamless and not lose the gameplay from before.

I wasn't sure if I should start a new topic about this, but since it's got something to do with the Turbo HD Remix game (I don't bother saying the whole name Cheesy) I figured I'd post it in this topic:

The game has a new remixed soundtrack, which was recorded by artists from the video game music site OverClocked Remix. I downloaded it a couple of days ago, and I gotta say it's pretty good. My favorite track is "Clamato Fever", a remix of Ken's theme. "Army Girl", the remix of Cammy's theme, is another good one.

You can download the whole soundtrack at OverClocked Remix: http://www.ocremix.org/

Actually, they're not even remixes but entirely new versions of those music pieces. Pretty cool.
