2008: A Street Fighting New Year!

Just want to wish each and every one of you the greatest, most successful and most fun New Year yet!

2008, as most of you know, kicks off the 20th Anniversary of Street Fighter. Not only does our own series continue, starting with Episode 8 this month, but the new SF feature film focusing on Chun Li, as well as the new TV series, both from Hyde Park Entertainment, will commence production. This will be enhanced by the release of all the new Street Fighter comics series from Udon, the new Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix this summer, Street Fighter Revolution 2 (characters to be announced) from Sota, and capped off in December by the long awaited Street Fighter IV from Capcom!

Throughout all this activity will be celebrations around the globe in the form of conventions, awards shows, speaking engagements, talk shows and all other manner of written praise and discussion, both in print and on the web, for and about the video game phenomenon of a generation!

I expect to be making many public appearances, both as and on behalf of, the legendary Russian wrestler whom I've been blessed to portray. Doubtless some of my SF:TLY compatriots will be doing the same. I will be looking forward to the privilege of seeing and meeting you personally. You have no idea how much love, affection and appreciation we feel for you! You have embraced us and this series with a sense of warmth and welcome that has exceeded all our expectations. Many thanks to you for making the last couple of years so much fun!
