Action figures (the real 12 inch kind with clothing and accessories), fastest cars yet made and spaceship and monster model kits for my age group and that's just the tip of that iceberg! The 60's really were the best time to be a kid!

The Universal movie monster model kits from Aurora were all the rage throughout the 1960s. I have many of them.
Playing Mantis, one of many repro toy companies that came out in the 90s and are aimed at Late Boomers, brought them all back again under the new name, Polar Lights.
I've gotta get myself The Black Beauty model from "The Green Hornet". That's one I missed the first time around.

WOW! That is THE final word on Shen Long! So glad you shared that information here with us! Seems there is a whole lot of stateside confusion to hack through with regard to Street Fighter II, especially concerning Balrog/Vega, Bison's national origin, Blanka's real nationality and don't even get me started on the American mispronunciations of the names (Zan-GEEF?)! In fact, we should use this forum to finally put THAT issue to rest as well. Give me a day or two and I will address that.

I remember how my friends and I all got taken in by EGM's Sheng Long gag back in the day. We thought we might actually have a shot at getting to face the elusive "Sheng Long", if we only spent enough quarters and "got good enough"! We gave up when faced with the cold, hard reality that we hadn't a hope in hell of ever beating the game without taking any damage (ostensibly a requirement for facing Sheng Long!)
I'm not too proud to admit that in my younger days, I fell for this prank 100%! Thanks for reminding me of this classic gag.
