To the cast, you did a wonderful job, thank you for entertaining us for the last two years. I hope the series did well enough to continue (hopefully with me in it next time Smiley ).

I'd hoped it would have been longer so some of the other characters could have got some more screen time (Guile Sad ), but apart from that it was brilliant!

A satisfying end to a brilliant series. I loved the abundance of SF2 references, such as the end credits music and the two guys fighting in the street, like in the intro scene.

Well done everyone!

Now, give us some more out-takes! Grin

I had NO idea that #9 was the last one! I was disappointed by this fact, although it was definitely funny! A lot of the characters didn't even fight, like Guile, Zangief, and Balrog. I thought it was a 12-episode miniseries. The ending scene with Zangief getting naked was both disturbing and funny! Whose idea was that? Lol oh yeah, when Ken kisses Chun Li, she looks like she's fighting it. She REALLY looks like she doesn't want to kiss him! Still never clarifies what happened between Ken & Eliza lol. Good show, I just wish there was more of it.  Smiley

Thanks, everybody!

Ya know, there might very well be more. The final criteria that needs to be met for our transition to another season, an all-out TV series or a feature film is the level of demand for more. Many of us in the cast believe strongly that we've barely even scratched the surface of the comic potential in all of the characters. In the meantime, however, we're in talks with booking agencies to get as many of the original cast to make personal appearances together this year as possible to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Street Fighter at everything from comic book conventions and science fiction fairs to video game expos, Street Fighter tournaments, talk shows and even at the theaters premiering the new Street Fighter movie from Hyde Park Entertainment. We'll even be performing comedy sketches in character at these events.

Right now we already have in the works a series of "Life with Zangief" spots to be shot this year for later inclusion into the proposed "Mike Fass Show" if we can get that up and running by the fall. Spot #1 is entitled "Dragon Punch & Judy" and is set to shoot in the spring. You'll see it posted at various locations all over the web (as well as right here) well in advance of the show itself.

Where the fighting is concerned, Zangief was supposed to perform a Spinning Piledriver on that street sign in Central Park but, at the last minute, Sam Reich told me that it's too expensive and time consuming a special effect to waste on just a montage sequence so it's being saved for the tournament.  When the tournament began, even though we kicked it off at the crack of dawn, I had the feeling that, because there were so many scenes intended for the day's shooting, it would probably not be possible to include them all. Zangief was to battle Sagat in the ring and employ his signature move on him but time ran out. There was also a hilarious bonus round involving a car in the ring that, again, time did not allow.

I get the feeling that Zangief getting naked was probably Sam's idea even though the scene was written by Dan Gurewitch because Sam told me that Dan had asked him, "Are you sure Mike will be comfortable doing this?", to which Sam replied, "I'm sure Mike will have no problem with it", knowing of my previous fame as the nude bear model, Drummer Bear. When Vince Peone shot Honda's hilarious close-up reaction, it was all Sam and I could do to control ourselves and keep from laughing out loud!

No matter what happens, most of the cast believe that "Street Fighter: The Later Years" will find some way to continue on in one form or another. Several of us will be working hard toward that end.

I promise you that I shall, Obruno, and don't go too far away because I think you'll be seeing a lot more of us in the very near future. I will certainly keep you posted with ALL the latest developments about the series' continuation.

This series has become one of my favorite things about the internet.  I can't wait to see what's down the line for the series.

Big thanks and big, furry Russian bear hugs, guys!

I've got some more new developments to post in our news section. Things are moving very quickly to get this spin-off right into production.

Work has already commenced on the first script which, so far, already stars Zangief, Chun Li, Vega and Bison.

And to Psycho Gorilla in particular, hang tight! This Street Fighter party's only just getting started!

So once it's all said and done, does anybody have an idea where the new series will be launched?  A strictly web-based series?  G4?  TELEMUNDO?!  The possibilities are endless.

They sure are! Right now it's most likely to wind up with a major syndicator such as My Network TV or the CW. We've still gotta shoot the first episodes, though, before we even get to that stage. Hang in there and we'll keep you abreast of every new development.

Absolutely.

Our very capable and wonderful composer is Dimitris Plagiannis. He did all his work for us from his home country of Greece. Here's a link to his work and his services:
