Wednesday, July 11th, 2007, was the scheduled return-to-shooting date for our series but rain was threatening so that particular day's shooting has been moved to Tuesday, the 17th. Meanwhile, we continued on Thursday shooting in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Tomorrow and Sunday are right on track and we're all thrilled to be back! Sunday's shoot will be on location in Woodside, Queens, and promises lots of action and adventure.
Series Creator and Director Sam Reich (
http://www.samreich.com) was in characteristically excellent form yesterday and got some really hilarious performances out of us. My character, Zangief, was in a state of clueless bliss in this episode.
When we finally all received the newest scripts going all the way to the season finale, I laughed out loud and also found myself truly entertained and intensely engaged in the multiple plot twists and my jaw dropped a few times. Expect a few shockers along the way.
I won't spoil it by saying anything more about it but suffice it to say that "Street Fighter: TLY" is back in a BIG way and you're all in for a real treat.
I've been aware of all the false rumors about the cancellation of our web series and I get approached on the street just about every day by fans concerned about it so let me clear the air; we are back in production and STREET FIGHTER LIVES! If seeing your childhood heroes getting their act together again has been fun for you so far, hang onto your hats! The best is yet to come!
