Every year I march as Drummer Bear in the NYC Gay Pride Parade. This year, due to the immense popularity of "Street Fighter: TLY", I marched in full Zangief attire. The reaction was amazing, at least from the under 40 crowd. Anybody older either recognized me strictly as Drummer Bear or thought I was one of the characters from "300".

As I made my way down Christopher Street (hey shouldn't there be a gay action/adventure show called, "Christopher Street Fighter"? Oh, right, that was Stonewall, I forgot), I was accosted by the irresistibly congenial host of "The Middle Show", J. Julian Christopher, and interviewed about our series directly across the street from my boyfriend's old apartment building (man, I miss those digs). Strangely, or perhaps not due to the time constraints, that part was cut from the final edit but you will see me presented with a prize upon my departure.
