Looks cool, i had already heard about it... But i think it's not gonna be as badass as Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD remix for PS3, there already was a 3D street fighter game and it sucked a bit.. Well i don't know bout this one actually, it looks pretty cool, but let's see how will it be

Yeah, I have all the Street fighter Ex series, the best 3D SF was EX3 for the Ps2 but Street fighter was ment to me in 2D SF II and SF III.

well if that is going to be street fighter IV. it looks good. not too 3D, but not exactly 2D.
i thinks it's somewhere in the middle.

Exactly! Capcom I guess took a whole new graphic view this time. I think it's really going to be great I just hope that Guile, Bison and Zangief will all be in it!

Oh geeze.  I hope it does end up looking as good as the trailer. If it does it may end up being the most realistically violent game in the series as well as the most artistic.

My guess is that it's going to be 3D with a whole wack of visual effects to give it a 2D apperance. I imagine they'll probably go along the same path as Team Fortress 2 and avoid cell shading but still give the characters a cartoon apperance. The facial animations seen in the trailer are entirely possible now as demonstrated in TF2. The bleeding colors might be possible although I don't know of any games atm that use it. That screenshot also implies the use of normal mapping which helps to add muscle tone without the need of extra polygons. Throw in some anti-asling to smooth out the lines for some added polish.

I'm guessing the gameplay might still be 2Dish unless they revolutionize the play control to allow the movement to be more 3D. It's been attempted before but not sucessfully.

You might be interested to know that Udon has been commissioned to create certain character select pics earlier this year for some (what was at that time) future Street Fighter project. They've already created this one for Zangief:

Udon is certainly ace, I bought all the comics since the first one came out Cheesy
So I'm glad that theyre doing work for the HD remake- but I'm hoping Sagat wont be his stereotypical "TIGER TIGER TIGER TIGER KNEE TIGER KNEE TIGER UPPERCUT TIGER TIGER TIGER KNEE".

I also heard that Konami bought out Capcom?
If it's true, we'll probably see some changes we wouldn't expect with Street Fighter as per the usual when someone new takes direction over something old.

Or it could be BS Cheesy

Yeah it would be cool, but the character belongs to other world Sad He was in Ken's stage in Alpha 2, because alpha 2 had all kinds of in-game jokes n stuff and Hiryu holding a teddy bear, was actually meant to be a "get well soon" message to one of Capcom members..
But you can always play as him in Marvel vs. Capcom, as well as he one of the most used characters in MUGEN rosters, so if you work with mugen you prolly can dowload all kinds of Hiryu versions on everywhere.. But ofcourse it would be fun to see him in 3D
